In en effort to increase access to the market by investors, improve market liquidity and deepen the markets, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) will extend trading hours by a further 2½ hours with effect from 1 July 2018, the bourse said in a statement.
The new market schedule for all the markets will be as follows:
| Pre-open Session: | 0900-1000 hours |
| Open: | 1000 hours |
| Continuous Session: | 1000- 1500 hours |
| Close: | 1500 hours |
| Post-close: | 1500-1530 hours |
| Suspend: | 1600 hours |
The extension will however result in changes to the delivery time of market data reports, which are normally circulated within an hour from the post close.
